I haven't had any problems with this vet clinic. I just take my animals in for shots and I am out the door in no time. a lot of vet clinics require expensive examinations that are unnecessary, whereas northside vet clinic saves people the time and expense. it also accepts care credit, which makes things that much easier on my wallet.

I have known Dr. Scott Boeschen for over 10 years now, ever since I took my new 6 week old pug puppy, "OBIE" to him for his 1st health evaluation. Dr. B. held the little scrawny guy up at eye level so they could "have an understanding", but my pug NEVER ceased being hyperactive, and it became an ongoing joke on every visit until the last couple years of his life. Whenever I would say to Obie, "you wanna go see Dr. Boeschen?"--and I always mispronounced it--Obie would run circles in happy ecstasy--perhaps because Dr. B. had connected with him--or perhaps the little shut-in just loved to get out--I could barely take him to Dr. B.'s or the groomers, he was so "out-of-control"!! My previous pug and Dachshund had ALWAYS gone with me to the drive-thru at the bank or fast food, and always got a treat. Not this one--he was always wired differently!! It's been almost 3 weeks now since our last trip to see Dr. B.--Obie's lameness had progressed to the point where his quality of life was FINALLY compromised, though he had hung in there for a long time despite his disability. Even on that last day, when I hid the fact I was taking him for the last time, and disguised my sorrow, he was excited to go see "Dr. Boeschen"!! The procedure was quick, and Dr. B. lessened the pain by remembering the 1st day he saw him, and we laughed at how he LOVED to come see "his Dr."!! On my way out, the Vet. Tech. reached out to give me a hug, and days later, I received a sympathy card. I knew it was "standard practice & procedure", but I had never received that "personalized" level of care from any other Veterinarian or Vet. clinic staff before!! Thank you, for both me & OBIE. Sincerely, Joyce Leader
