Disappointed in Dr Colleen Maxcys treatment in 2010. She said I needed an epidural, so I took her advice, I ended up getting a blood patch because her epidural went too far. Went to Largo to another pain doctor who said she should have went a more conservative route at first. Big expensive office and no one says hello or is pleasant. I wasn't on medication and heard two women crying because they accused them of wanted pain medicine. These two women had a broken leg and the other a broken arm. Try taking over the counter medicines for that one. Dr Maxcys has worked in several places and just had graduated yet I was referred to her by a friend. Wish I never went there. met people along the way who said they had to get blood patches also which was a painful terrible ordeal in which I still have nerve pain and neuropathy that I never had before. Also got a rash at sight of incision and all over my back that I still have marks. Do not go to this office please.

They answered my questions and spent a lot of time with me. I didn't feel like they were trying to rush my appointment at all. This provider has very little helpful information available online, and what they do have is hard to find. There are times when I've been there, that I feel like they're favoring certain clients. It's not all the time, but I don't appreciate it when it happens. Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine. They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Go to other pain drs in the area. They keep wanting to give you shots that they make money on even if you don't need them. Not happy got hurt by Dr Maxcy. She gave me a spinal headache in 2011 she was not experienced but I gave her a chance and was disappointed. Worst I've ever felt.. Warned by Local area doctors n 2010 and should have listened to them. some doctors had to do blood patches for her mistakes. She is rough and shot happy instead of discussing medicines that are less invasive.
