Pediatric Developmental Psychologist sees children birth through 16 years 11 months, unless the child has been seen previously. . If the child has already been seen in the practice, he or she may be evaluated at older ages at the request of the parent. Comprehensive consultations are primarily diagnostic in nature . Referrals for additional evaluation/treatment by genetics, neurology, etc are provided, and children requiring ongoing psychological treatment will be referred to a provider near their home. Dr. Roth specializes in developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, learning Disorders, ADHD, etc. Children are also evaluated for possible behavioral difficulties such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, etc.

I read someone else's review who had referred to Dr. Roth as 'dangerous.' I'd like to echo that sentiment. In 1995, Dr. Roth said my son had autism. Not only was she completely wrong in her assessment, even the neurologist working in tandem with her didn't agree. His tests didn't support that diagnosis. But there it was. I want this incompetent woman to know that my son, whom she stated was autistic and could very well be institutionalized, is getting his college degree from ASU in Statistics! People like Karlsson Roth don't realize the damage they do. She ruined my life with that diagnosis and I, thereafter, looked at my adorable son in a different way. I hope she reads this and feels some remorse. However, I doubt that will occur.
