At the end of July, I called the Garden State Behavior Health Services of South Jersey office in Marlton, NJ to set up an appointment as a new patient. I took the next available appointment which was for September 13th. This seemed like quite some time to wait for a behavioral health appointment but I understood Saturday appointments were hard to come by. I received a call this morning, September 10 (3 days before my scheduled appointment) and was told that the doctor wasn’t available and they needed to cancel. I called back to reschedule and was offered the next available appointment which was at the end of November. Over 2 months away. I was absolutely appalled that this office expected me to wait a total of almost 4 months for an appointment that they failed to properly schedule the first time. The receptionist was anything but apologetic and acted as though I were inconveniencing her with my questions and concerns. I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy. They were rude, disorganized, and absolutely unprofessional. I can only hope absolute failure for their entire office so as not to place this discontent on future potential patients. I would rate them 0 stars if I have that option available.
