Thrive Counseling Center - formerly Family Service - is a comprehensive mental health center located in the heart of Oak Park, Illinois. Thrive provides counseling for individuals, couples, and families. The center also offers psychiatric and medication management services, 24/7 crisis services, in-home counseling for older adults, specialized services for youth, and other mental health programs. Thrive Counseling Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has served the community since 1898.

Services Our highly trained staff accepts most major Insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. Sliding scale fees are also available for Oak Park & River Forest residents without insurance. Most appointments can be scheduled within 5-7 business days (psychiatric services and certain time slots may take longer). Call 708-383-7500 to schedule an appointment or learn more about services.
