Gayle Ellis saw me starting when I was 16. I had no idea at the time that I had addiction tendencies. She never saw the signs. When I asked for 2 different prescriptions to a controlled substance, she willingly agreed. She regularly filled my prescriptions early and pretty much prescribed anything I asked. She didn't notice any of the signs of addiction I was showing, even though I regularly showed up to sessions with her having not slept for several days and completely wired on pills she had prescribed me. When my mother intervened when I was still a minor, expressing concerns, she dismissed my mom and I as having "mother daughter issues". She should not be allowed to see any children or prescribe controlled substances.
