The front end staff is horrible, screw up patient appts, and are rude. Dr. Schact himself is a very angry man who seems to not give a care about his patients. He argued with me and put me down for my condition. One time he brought his dog into the office, which I think is unprofessional. People could have fears or allergies. He refuses to help with paperwork & always seems uncaring & frustrated. He refuses to write scripts for anxiety meds like Klonopin & Xanax. He tries to rush you out of the office as quickly as possible because you can tell he truly dislikes his job & can't stand people. He's the worst PSY I've ever met. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy. If anything he's caused my condition to get a lot worse. He's a very angry man who claims he doesn't understand my condition.....even though he supposedly has been a PSY dr for almost 30 years he seems to be unknowledgeable about mental health conditions. Also, he completely flipped out in a rage when helping me with paperwork & when I told him I was having suicidal thoughts.
