I began seeing Douglas Weinstein, Acupuncturist, at Complete Health several months ago at bi-weekly intervals. My reason for seeing Douglas was a several year history of chronic digestive and colon issues that literally controlled my life. I tried several prescription medications over the years to manage the pain and severe IBS like symptoms but found that the medications had quite a sedative impact. My primary care physician suggested that I try acupuncture and I located Douglas Weinstein.

Since receiving acupuncture treatments from Douglas, the quality of my life has improved dramatically. I don’t have the chronic diarrhea, abdominal pain, and accompanying anxiety that I have lived with for years. I could refer to Douglas and acupuncture as “magical” because that is surely how it seems to me. However, Douglas is a highly trained and most professional practitioner who uses his insight and skill to help or heal people who are suffering. His demeanor and “energy” are lovely, calming, and caring. My gratitude for his integrity and work are enormous.

I was skeptical in the beginning, went so far as to tell him that I didn’t expect him to cure me. The acupuncture has surely far surpassed my expectations for healing. I highly recommend Douglas to anyone open to a new way of dealing with acute or chronic pain, other health issues, or simply wanting to maintain a healthier body and lifestyle.
