Dr. Otey has been practicing Gynecology for over 20 years and has a special focus on Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology. She recently joined a practice with her father Dr. Gurney F. Pearsall Sr., a well renowned Houston Pediatrician at Pearsall & Otey Women and Children's Health. Dr. Otey is residency trained and board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and completed a fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology. She is on staff at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital and The Woman's Hospital of Texas. Dr. Otey's office is currently accepting new patients and has relationships with several insurance carriers. I was mostly comfortable with the temperature in the OBGYN's exam room. The OBGYN's office is so old fashioned. I never got a call back confirming my appointment. I didn't feel like the nurse receptionist was empathetic to my acknowledgment that I never got a confirmation call. I never got a call about test results from this OBGYN. They claimed that they will have my results in a few days after my appointment but I never got a call. I called them twice within the past 3 weeks and I still have not gotten my results. It is irritating to me because I really would like to know as soon as possible after my pap smear. I would never return to this OBGYN and would absolutely never recommend them to others because if their un-prompt responses and lack of follow-up.
