Judy Gardner, MS, BSN, RN, LPC, NCC

Judy provides compassionate, professional counseling to adults, teens, and children desiring healing, hope or help with life transitions. She employs research-based counseling theory from a neurobiological and developmental framework including person-centered therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. She is a EMDRIA certified therapist, trained in Level I and II eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), is trained in play therapy, Love and Logic parenting training, Prepare and Enrich for premarital and marital counseling, and hypnotherapy.

Judy received a bachelor of science in nursing in 1988 from CMSU, and a master of science in counseling in 2009 from UCM. She completed clinical internships in a private practice; and an in-patient unit for trauma-based disorders. She is a registered nurse, licensed professional counselor, and board eligible national certified counselor.

Her practice focus includes self-esteem, trauma-based disorders (PTSD), depression, anxiety disorders, grief, and chronic pain.

Ms. Gardner is very professional. She is nonjudgmental and very compassionate and understanding. She is extremely dedicated to helping her clients heal. Her client's confidentiality is taken very seriously.
