Dr. McCaas state-of-the-art LASIK Laser Eye Center was the first "iLASIK Certified clinic in Mississippi. It remains the only iLASIK Certified center in metro Jackson. Dr. McCaa performs blade-free LASIK using the Advanced CustomVue procedure.
Dr. McCaa is a board certified ophthalmologist and cornea fellowship-trained eye surgeon.
She was one of the first ophthalmologists in the U.S. to be trained in the LASIK procedure. She has successfully performed LASIK on
thousands of patients.

Dr. McCaa also uses the first Pentacam HR unit in the greater Jackson area. The 3-D corneal scanner detects which patients should not have LASIK due to preexisting cornea conditions and, thereby, avoids complications. The Pentacam HR is used for every potential LASIK patient.

I was very nearsighted since I was a child. I wanted LASIK, but was afraid to have it done. I was sick of not being able to see without my CONFINING contacts or glasses. So I did my research and people I respect kept telling me to go to Dr. Connie McCaa and no one else for LASIK. Everyone agreed: Dr. McCaa had the most experience, the most success and the best LASIK equipment. So I got LASIK from Dr. McCaa and I have NEVER had a better medical experience in my life.
She and her great staff talked me through it and the procedure wasn't scary at all. About 2 years have gone by and I feel so free and happy every day because I can see! I have 20/20 vision in both eyes. Don't be afraid, especially if you go to someone like Dr. McCaa who is the BEST at LASIK. I am so happy I did this for myself. I also used their financing for LASIK patients, which is open to everyone. That really helped me, too.
