I was misdiagnosed by this provider of service. I was told that I had contracted ringworm on my neck and given a prescription for Ketaconazole. I was told that the affected area would be cleared up provided I used the Ketaconazole as directed for 4 weeks. After 4 weeks the area showed no improvement and I made an appointment with another dermatologist that was appalled that Accredited Dermatology did not suggest a lab test. It turned out to be basal cell skin cancer! One would think that a practice that claims to specialize in skin disorders as does Accredited Dermatology, that they would have suggested a lab test. They had no problem accepting my insurance company's payment as well as my out of pocket balance...even after I informed them as their mistake. Fortunatey I was referred to a very good surgeon by the Cancer Center at Jersey Shore Hospital and have since had the cancer successfully removed. My experience at Accredited Dermatology cost me time and trouble than I could possibly list here. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
