I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. Dr Houston was extremely friendly, and paid attention to both me and my pet. My first visit with Dr Houston was for my new Ocicat kitten's "well baby" check. Not too long later, the extremely active and spunky kitten slipped off my desk at home and injured her leg. Dr. Houston even got down on the floor to play with her in order to evaluate the specific location of her injury. They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately. For example, when it was time for my young cat's spay, she was a... less than ideal patient. Even though I kept a very close eye on her and was extremely diligent about care, she still tore out her sutures and required several more visits. The only visit Dr. Houston charged me for was the second surgery, and I think that was very fair. I have been so happy with her that when it was time for my mature Aby to have his annual exam I took him to Dr. Houston as well. I also like the fact that she is up on modern and current vaccination research and doesn't push unnecessary vaccinations or procedures.

The staff really made the extra effort to make us feel welcome and at home. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. They were absolutely amazing and make others in the same field look like beginners. I really can't say enough good things.
