The Gardens Residential Care Community Centers were the first in California to be built with a specially designed floor plan for those with Alzheimer's disease and memory impairment. Each care center is spread across two acres of land and offers extensive walking paths, beautiful rose gardens, and sunny patios for the resident's enjoyment. My brother lived at Valley View Gardens, Garden Grove, CA, for over a year. He passed away yesterday, sadly, but was well taken care of and cared for by the staff there. Right after he passed away, many of the staff stopped in to "say goodbye" to him. They touched him and spoke to him in a personal way and it was obvious that they cared about him. It was very warming and helpful to me, as his sister, to feel their care and love for my brother. I didn't feel alone in my difficult time. Thank you caring staff at Valley View Gardens for all the help you gave my brother during his time with you.

I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. Their main room is very big and roomy, a great place for their people to gather around for meals and other activities.
I know that they have a lot of clients here so I understand that they many not remember my name every time, but I am always really impressed when I walk in the door and am greeted. My loved one has been there only one week so they don't always remember me by name but they are always very nice and very helpful and look with care after my loved one who is living there now. He is eating more than ever, loves their food, is well groomed, the place is very clean and they have many activities for their people.
They have beautiful grounds with gardens, fountains and benches and gazebos all around the main house where we and also they take their people for walks when the weather permits. I go see my loved one every day and always take him for a walk as he loves to walk in their gardens.. A very nice and relaxing atmosphere.
They always try to make the effort and for this I am grateful. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. I was seen almost as soon as I walked in the door. I didn't have to reorganize my day around my appointment at all. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous.
All the staff at this place are wonderful and very polite and helpful and they treat my love one with lost of care when me and my family are not there.
I really appreciate all they do for Joe my loved one who now lives there.
