If you or a loved one needs medical attention,please,do yourself a favor and take them or yourself to the hospital in Centralia,Wa.In my opinion the doctors and nursing staff at St. John's are incompetent and rude.Their "comfort care" for a dying patient is more like "torture care".My family member was in their hospital for a couple of weeks and in that time the staff never bathed or washed my family member.They wouldn't even change my family members bandages.When it was pointed out to the nursing staff that the bandages were dirty and starting to fall off the nurse had the nerve to bring in some bandages and then told us to change them.My family member was dying and on "comfort care" and all life prolonging medicines and treatments were stopped and they were supposed to administer pain medication which they wouldn't do until we raised a stink about it.It is my opinion that the doctors here are worried more about their reputation than they are of their patients health and well being.
I could go on and on about the poor treatment and care my family member received in St. John's Hospital but I think you get the drift by now.It is my opinion that you should give yourself or your family member a better chance at recovery and take them to a hospital or facility that isn't owned or ran by Peace Health.You will be much better off !!!
