Dr. Liz Orchard is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD) and founder of Be Well Natural Medicine. After graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in pre-medical studies from the University of St. Thomas (2001), Dr. Orchard earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine (2008), with honors, from the oldest fully accredited Naturopathic medical school, National University of Natural Medicine, in Portland, Oregon. She follows an integrated approach to medicine, combining natural medicines with western diagnostics and functional laboratory interpretation.

Areas of specialty include: women's health, PCOS and other menstrual issues, pre-conception care, fertility issues, thyroid and sex hormone imbalances, acne and skin conditions, pediatric health, autism spectrum disorders, autoimmune disease, chronic fatigue, depression/anxiety, allergies/asthma, chronic infections, mold illness, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, and digestive disorders including IBS, IBD and SIBO.

During the five years of Naturopathic medical training, she focused her studies on women's health and endocrinology. She has also studied various forms of mind-body medicine, including Vipassana meditation, Tai Ji, Qi Gong, and Yoga.
Training Dr. Orchard was the resident ND at an integrative medicine clinic in New York City (http://www.integrativemedicalny.com) from 2008 to 2009, where her focus was preventive medicine, digestive disorders, and integrative cancer care. In September 2009, she returned to her Minnesota roots and began private practice in the Twin Cities area.
