We miss her so much. Best care for our dogs.

Met me at the office on a holiday after my dog was attacked by another dog. Robin was very rude to me in front of my very anxious child, more concerned about the dog's name and the fact that he hadn't been neutered, even though he was in shock. Required I pay 200 deposit upfront before even touching him, Refused to x-ray or pay attention to his leg, Made rude comments and complained about her holiday being ruined. She did surgery and patched him back up, I again asked her to look at his leg which she gave him a quick once over and dismissed the situation. Surgery went fine, He recovered but still has problems with his hind leg, seems to have nerve damage, occasionally cannot walk on the leg. As a Registered Nurse, I found her rude attitude and complaints in a tense situation very disconcerting, Her dismissal of my concerns about the damage to my dog's leg neglectful. I would have never behaved in such a way in front of my patients, I can understand requesting funds upfront although I feel that she doesn't do this with everyone, maybe because I was covered in blood and dirt from breaking up a dog fight and trying to care for my animal, I don't know. But she did do the basic care and surgery, he is alive today even though he doesn't have full use of his hind leg. I don't think that I should have had to defend my dog's name, in an emergent situation or any situation even though I did not name the animal. It could have been handled with a bit of compassion, which was clearly lacking and her disdain for the animal, or maybe myself, was extremely prevalent as well as her holiday being impinged upon and ruined.
