Services We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best. Below is a list of some of our services. If you don't see the service you are looking for, please contact us.

Semi-annual exams: (exams every 6 months) are recommended to help doctors keep your pet healthy. They also allow clients to plan their pet's health care needs by spreading it out over several months instead of all at once.

Sick, Urgent, or daytime emergency visits are available throughout the day. We are happy to see any other hospital's clients for daytime urgent care or emergencies and send them back to their regular veterinarian for follow ups.

After hour emergency services provided only to established clients at this time.

Diagnostic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pet's complete health care needs. We have the ability to perform complete blood cell counts (CBC), Chemistry profiles (to check organ functions), Coagulation profiles, Electrolytes, Blood Glucose curves, Thyroid tests, Pancreatitis tests, Parvovirus tests, Fecal tests, Urinalysis, Ultrasound exams, Radiographs (X-rays), ECG, and surgical services.

Therapeutic Services: We have the ability to provide a variety of therapeutic services from out-patient services to in-patient services. All of our patients are provided with their own doctor and nurse to ensure complete care.
General Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Dr. Brooks, Dr. Boyce and Dr. Geneczko perform routine spays, neuters, growth and tumor removals, abdominal exploratory surgeries, mastectomies, urinary bladder surgery, and more.

Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Radiology Services: Our on-site X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. We are able to perform routine ultrasounds and limited endoscopic procedures. Ultrasounds to determine viability of puppies and kittens are available along with an ultrasound picture.

Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

Dentistry: Using our new and modern equipment, our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.

Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets. Prescriptions can be filled by phone, and either picked up at our hospital or mailed. Prescriptions to be mailed must be paid for in advance. Shipping charges will vary. We want to keep your business with us in Salem, Ohio so we work hard to keep our pharmaceutical fees reasonable.

Dr. o'neill informed us they are like primary care doctors for pets!!!!!! THIS TIME, Of course, this was after we spent over $500 to find out what was wrong with our pet, to be told they found nothing. after a surgical procedure. We are very unsatisfied with the service we have gotten here. Every time we have taken a pet to this office we have paid dearly. They give estimates for surgeries and when it comes time to check out, the bill is always higher. got our records and will be finding a new vet!!!!!!!!!
