Services As a therapist, Dr. Pichler makes use of mindfulness and awareness techniques to help clients recognize their obstacles to well-being. She is trained in cognitive-behavioral techniques, interpersonal therapies, and trauma-related therapies. Dr. Pichler is a Level II trained EMDR therapist, which gives her a unique tool to help those who with PTSD, a history of trauma, and anxiety disorders. EMDR is a cognitive technique that addresses trauma and the accompanying anxiety and distorted thinking that perpetuate the problems associated with PTSD and trauma.
