Kimball Chatfield, Doctor of Oriental Medicine

Kimball Chatfield graduated from the California Acupuncture College in 1983. He has taught at three acupuncture colleges. He also attended Naturopathic Medical college. He hold a degree in Natural Resource Managemanet from San Diego State University. An expert on medicinal plants. His book, Medicine From the Mountains:Medicinal Plant of the Sierra Nevada, is considered the reference book on this subject. His new book, Astragalus: Ancient Herb for Modern Times, will be out in 2014. He received his Doctorate in Oriental Medicine researching the effects of acupuncture on the detoxification and elimination of pesticides.
