This place is a pest hole. Filthy, smelly, furniture nasty, dirty, worn. Rooms are depressing & not well-maintained. Meals served are the barest minimum they can get away with. No fruit, no salad, onl y beverages are some kind of orange drink mix & instant iced tea (no ice--they don't have an ice maker, or even ice cube trays, I guess) & milk is rationed out - 1/2 glass of milk when they have cornflakes 2x a week. Dinner seems to usually be a hot dog (1) & chips or tuna salad on a bun. If resident doesn't like whats served at lunch their choice is a peanut butter sandwich or cottage cheese & canned peaches. I guess if your diabetic or have some other special needs your SOL. Rates are ridiculous for what is given. Don't think staff is trained to deal with elderly. Looks like anybody can pass out medications Filthy, nasty, horrible, dreadful, cheap-cheap-cheap. Definitely bottom of the barrell; For people who have nowhere else to go or whose kids just want to dump them. DEPRESSING as hell.
I would never refer thhis place to any of my family and friends. Not sure who is authorized or credentialed to run this establishment, but they seemed non-existant, unavailable, or unconcerned. The ro oms are depressing and unsightly and in need or repair, there is a noticeable odor upon entry. The rates are high, the value is very low. The food is assigned and if that is not what you can eat, then cottage cheese and peaches is your meal. Meal times are unusual, seeming to discourage attendance. It is not a suitable place to leave anyone you care about.
