My mother was a patient there after major surgery. The care was horrible. The first night she was there I stayed until around 8 pm and when we were getting ready to leave she pushed her button to go to the bathroom and 40 minutes later (YES FORTY) Still no one came. I went to get help and was totally ignored. Her light was on and the buzzer at the nurses station was going off. How do people standing there ignore that? It’s loud! Since I couldn’t seem to get help I called on the phone. I was not gentle telling them how I felt about the situation. I also reminded “the person in charge” I was speaking to, that if something was wrong didn’t they feel it important to answer buzzers/lights? This care continued through her whole stay. 1week of waiting hours after pushing buttons for help. Some times her and her roommate would each push theirs in hopes of someone coming sooner than an hour. That is no exaggeration!! There is so much more I can say that happened there but my last comments will be regarding her discharge. They came, after waiting and waiting when they said they would be “right back”, and did the paperwork and left and said they would be “right back” again and never came back. Her roommates son went to find someone to see when they were going to take her out to her car and he couldn’t find anyone. He ended up taking the wheelchair in the room and wheeling her out and getting her in the car. Her paperwork had to emailed to her because she had no discharge paperwork because there was no one to ask. Or if there is they ignore you. I could go on with so much more, but no one wants to read an hour long review. To sum it up (even after calling them and telling them how angry I was with my mothers care) IT WAS THE WORST!!! How does someone own/run a place like that and sleep at night? The only reason I gave it ONE star was to show it was a rating. It should be -5 (MINUS FIVE) starts!!!!
