This facility is a personal residence as well as a care home. The upstairs where the owner and family quarters are is also where the food prep is done, the kitchen and upper level is never clean and quite cluttered. The owner and family will yell, scream, demean the residents ( at times in front of the other residents), they will get angry and very cruelly shame the residents if they have an accident or spill something. If the resident doesn't like what meal is prepared they get no other option, their food is thrown away in front of them and are told they can go hungry. The owner has anger management issues and if need be she will not hesitate to curse them and push them. For example if a resident is not wanting a shower or are too slow at getting ready to shower they get cursed and shoved into the shower with force. One resident once said she had been slapped and they owner told her if she ever told anyone that again she would be shown what a smack is. I would not recommend this facility for anything other than closure. Her son lived on the property and during that time was convicted on drug charges, numerous thefts, and multiple arrests. I wish the family members could see what goes on when visitors are not present. The only reason I gave one star is that is the minimum allowed in order to give a review. I urge you to strongly reconsider before choosing this facility.
