East High Veterinary Clinic no longer exists, and there is an insurance company at 2444 E High St. They don't tell you that when you call and I even mentioned that I live only about 5 mins. away in the east end, just a few blocks from that address when I talked to the girl who made my appointment. I wasted a half hour knocking on doors at and next to 2444 E High Street and had to leave my cat in the car while I ran in, which added to her already heightened nervousness. I had not brought their phone number with me so didn't call them. Went back to my house and called them and they said "We're on N. Limestone Street now, Springfield Animal Hospital." I was quite peeved, since I have been to Spfld. Animal Hospital before but this time wanted to just go a few blocks to get to the E High St address so my cat didn't need to be in my car for long to get her there. So, I then ran another 10 minutes away to the north side of Springfield and took my cat in there. They said they had "called about the internet address" and nobody ever took the E High Vet ad off the internet. So, be sure that you take your animal to the north Limestone St location to the Springfield Animal Hospital. Once I went there and we saw the vet I was pleased with their vet and her diagnosis and treatment. It cost me $267.00, though, which I wasn't prepared for.
