They weren't very understanding or caring, and they didn't show empathy for my situation. I could tell I wasn't their primary concern. . For starters, I was given Versed to "knock me out" for a Colonoscopy but shortly after the procedure I awoke and began moaning b/c I could not verbalize anything. I felt more pain than when I gave birth to my son. I tried to get up off the table and rip the IV out during another time that I woke up. This happened several times that day. The nurse just kept laying me back down telling me that they were almost done. I came out crying and moaning and when I had to get up to go the bathroom I was walking sideways down the hallway w/ no help being given. I kept crying over the whole situation and the nurse kept telling me to calm down b/c I was upsetting the other patients and they did not want to go into their procedures. The nurse told my husband that I was releasing pent up emotions and that is why I could not calm down...wth!! I was RUSHED out of recovery long before I should have been. I was still not able to stand up straight and I just kept crying, very nauseas and a horrible headache. I called the next day and I was told that they had asked if I wanted them to stop but I just went back to sleep..but I kept waking back up so didn't they think it was time to end the procedure. I am traumatized and still suffer from PTSD from this place! I will NEVER have anything done at this place and I warn everyone I know not to as well. The people running the place could care less about what happens to you except that they are not sued!
