I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sarah. I was recently referred to her by a friend and was talking with someone else who also recommended her. We had 2 large Lab's. The 9 year old was figh ting cancer and she had to break the bad news to us. By the time we got to it, it was already too late and he needed to be put down. A month later, our 14 year old lab was brought in because we knew it was her time as well. When we got there, the emotions took over and I was reluctant to put her down. Even though I didn't have a consultation scheduled with Dr. Sarah, they could see that I needed that confirmation that we were doing the right thing. They put us in a room and when Dr. Sarah came in she immediately sat on the floor with our dog. Telling her how beautiful she was and just loving her to pieces as if it were her own dog. She confirmed that our dog was in a place that she was definitely holding on for us. After talking to Dr. Sarah, I was sure we were doing the right thing. She offered for us to be in the room when our dog went to sleep which was comforting knowing that we didn't just have to leave her there and could hold her as she took her last breath. She gave us time to say our good-bye's and didn't make us feel rushed at all. I've never had such a loving experience with a vet. Of course they all pet and talk baby talk to our pets when we take them in, but Dr. Sarah has a real passion for animals and that was very comforting as we said good-bye to both of our furry kids. The prices I would say are fairly cheap compared to other vets we've used. I would take any of my pets to Dr. Sarah regardless of the hour drive any day!
