Very shiny but just a thin veneer in my experience twice with them. I am a surgeon. what I have seen and base my review on are poor clinical desicisions that are not based on the animals pathophysiology or surgical outcomes. Staff in the front is clueless, but that s usually not their fault. Their attitude would lead them to be fired from my office.

This may be a reasonable place for a real emergency when there is no one else to go and undoubtedly they serve a role in the Wilmington community. I would never allow them to do anything surgical on my pet and would strongly recommend considering a more outstanding facility like the VSRP (veterinary surgery referral practice) or the veterinary school at NC State.

It is well worth the trip to Cary for superior care if you are really concerned about your pet s well being in my opinion.

Several dogs have been lost, mistreated, surgeries have been botched. Rediculous bills have been mailed out after pets have DIED of their neglegence. DRIVE TO RALEIGH, YOUR PET IS WORTH IT!
