Very shiny but just a thin veneer in my experience twice with them. I am a surgeon. what I have seen and base my review on are poor clinical desicisions that are not based on the animals pathophysiology or surgical outcomes. Staff in the front is clueless, but that s usually not their fault. Their attitude would lead them to be fired from my office. This may be a reasonable place for a real emergency when there is no one else to go and undoubtedly they serve a role in the Wilmington community. I would never allow them to do anything surgical on my pet and would strongly recommend considering a more outstanding facility like the VSRP (veterinary surgery referral practice) or the veterinary school at NC State. It is well worth the trip to Cary for superior care if you are really concerned about your pet s well being in my opinion. HHC MD

They were very sympathetic to my situation, and made me feel cared for. I knew that I could count on them at all times. They have a huge selection of medication available for pets and fully explain the benefits and possible side effects that each one presents. They also provide flea protection by the month, if you prefer to buy it that way. It's such a great place. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have.
