WARNING: DO NOT GO TO THIS ED. YOUR LIFE AND THOSE OF YOUR LOVED ONES MAY DEPEND ON IT. My loved one died minutes after leaving this ED, following unprofessional, incompetent noncare.Pt reported "doctor was mean and didn't care about me.' Patient with deteriorating mental status and neurologic signs was not seen or checked on for over 2 hours and family was told on arrival by triage nurse "there is nothing we can do." Agreed to see pt after pleading of family member, but meanwhile lower priority patients were coming and going. Family faces lifetime of anguish at senseless loss of a young life in desparate need of timely and competent emergency care. If only we had gone to a competent, caring ED.
