I was told to be at the sleep center where I took my test in the Bronx. I had a small window of time to choose from, to meet with the respiratory therapist. I went there on my lunch break, so I wouldn 't have to wait another 2 weeks. It was the only time he was available to meet me. I got there and they knew nothing about it. Then they tell me it was supposed to be at my house. I went home, nobody was there. I doubt he came because I haven't gotten a call at all. They're supposed to call when they are close by to deliver it. He also has my credit card on file! I'm ready to really loose it. They are telling the sleep study center, Better Sleep (who was great!) that they are going to "try" and deliver it to my house tonight. We shall see. I hope so, but highly doubt it. I am not going to refer my family and friends here. I just wasn't that impressed. They didn't give me advice that would benefit me at all. They only cared about what would make them the most money. The staff must have not been trained very well. Almost every time I would ask them a question, they'd refer me to their boss or someone else. Their staff is very friendly and professional. It is impossible to get an appointment at their office. They are always booked and have a long waiting list.
It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time.
