I have purchased two electric lift recliners that were so uncomfortable after a few weeks use that I had to stuff them with pillows under the cushions in their backs and also my husband and I both have to use an additional cushion to sit on. This shouldn't be, but this is the only suggestion offered by the store owners to remedy this problem. I also bought a Jazzy Elite electric wheelchair over a year ago that I have not been able to use even once because the owner never programmed it. I called six times in the past year and the owners still keep coming up with excuses and haven't programmed the wheelchair yet. I am sending a copy of this letter to the Leisure World newspaper so hopefully they will print my complaints about the atrocious behavior of the owners and their staff. I bought the electric wheelchair to use when I'm driving my van with a ramp. I still have to manually roll myself up the ramp in order to drive and it is extremely hard on my already weakened post-polio muscles in my arms. I also wanted to use it on vacations, and I have already taken 2 cruises and one road trip where I had planned to use the power chair but was unable because of it not being programmed. I will never by another thing from this store because of their horrible customer service and lack of any concern when complaints are made. I have spent close to $5,000 on products from Alpine medical supply and yet they will not service the products and act like it is normal not to do so. I recommend going to any medical supplier except ALPINE MEDICAL SUPPLY because they treat their loyal customers like we are inconsequential to them.
