Last week our 4 year old Golden Doodle had a pneumothorax (cyst burst in his lung creating a hole). This was a normal healthy dog until this happened. Dr. Gerard being an experienced DVM saved our dogs life. He knew exactly what treatment was needed and quickly got a chest tube into him so that the air could be pumped out manually from his chest. Once stable he personally left his clinic and transported him performing the manual pump to keep him stable with his staff to the Veterinary Specialty Hospital where they could give him an auto pump and further emergency care. We cannot thank Dr. Gerard enough and his staff for all he did to save our dog. We have no doubt that if we had gone to any other DVM who did not have the ER and experience and caring that Dr. Gerard has we would have lost our dog. THANK YOU to this awesome Dr. and his team that went above and beyond to save our dog.

Two weeks ago I woke up to find one of our puppies very ill and bleeding to death. Being new to the area, we frantically drove to the closest vet hospital which was Dr. K. Since we didn't know what to expect we immediately and frantically asked if we could make payment arrangements just to be prepared. Meanwhile, our pup was laying on the floor in a puddle of blood. The heartless staff said we don't accept payment arrangements and the Dr. won't discount. We never asked for a discount, only payment arrangements. Then one of the staff said they would clean up the blood. We couldn't believe how cold and careless they were being in the business animal care. We then raced to Furry Friend only to be met with the same response. We then found JUPITER ANIMAL HOSPITAL. Dr. Gerard took immediate action. Later, his staff worked on payment arrangements. They saved our pups life! Our pup was diagnosed with HGE and would have died in a few hours. THANK YOU DR. GERARD and STAFF!!
