I love the vets at mountain lore But I don't like the fact they still do not allow you in the office die to "Covid" ,I think they need to change this policy ,! Covid is old now

Brought my elderly godfather's 18 year old cat for her annual visit with specific instructions NOT to shave her like they had done in the past. I was going to bring her to the groomers which verbalized to the staff at Mountain Lore. When I picked her up, since had been shaved completely. When questioned, the staff told me the doctor called my godfather who gave the doctor the 'go-ahead' to do what he needed to do. I feel as though the doctor and staff took advantage of an elderly man to increase the cost of the visit. This is the same vet who killed one of our cats in the back room and wouldn't allow us entrance to see him. Go figure. We found the best vet at Apple Valley Vets in Southington, the ONLY place to go.
