If I could give Dr. Gavin 0 stars I would. If you are taking your pet for a normal checkup type visit or teeth cleaning, by all means go ahead. They can handle that. If you have a concern for your pets well being, avoid Gavin at ALL COSTS. there is zero personal touch regardless of how long you've been a patient there. We had a recent incident with our pet and they kept him for 24 hours on no fluids and performed no work other than a routine blood work sample upon presentation. 12 hours after getting our pet back, we were in the car headed to Auburn where we then had to leave the pet for 8 days under 24 monitoring. It's a shame that Alex City cannot get a vet competent enough and considerate enough to provide quality care to the community's pets. We will NEVER take any of our pets here ever again and would HIGHLY recommend that if you have a concern about your pets health at the time of your decision, you should go elsewhere.
