I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. It was nice to be acknowledged. They were very qualified and knowledgeable. I could tell that they've been doing their job well for quite a while. When I left their office I had a very clear understanding of my pet's condition. I can tell that it is important to them to make sure all of their clients never leave feeling confused. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional.
The only issue I really have is that I don't feel like one of the Veterinarians I have seen there will listen to the symptons I describe ir anything I try to say. I lost a dog to poisoning because I was told it was pork fat the dog comsumed even though I described how a neighbor had threatened to poison my dog. I was told to take the dog home and watch him. I realize that there was no way to save my dog from antifreeze poisoning but when I took him back convulsing violently with crystalizing kidneys, the Veterinarian said, "Oh this dog has been poisoned with antifreeze, I've stopped the convulsions but you need to decide if you want to put him down or take him to Virginia Tech for dialysis, we don't do that here." Point being, this person could have saved my dog lots of suffering had this person just cared a second about anything I had to say. This Veterinarian has also questioned the validity of other statements I have made regarding my animals. I'm no Veterinarian, but I'm not stupid. Plus I have not taken an animal with real health issues that has been healed or that has lived, to this person. Now it is hard to take any of my animals there because I do not know if I can refuse to see this particular Veternarian. I have no problems with the others, but I still drive out of my way for the sake of my animals because of this Veternarian.
