I had been going to Dr. Riehl for many yrs... mostly to get my dog groomed, but when it came time to really care for my dog with medical problems seems like he just wanted to check her , and in that I mean do the same thing every time I took her.. just felt of her body... and give me very expensive pills for my dog that i could not get her to take,...,., when talking to one of the girls on the phone she told me they could give my dog a cough syrup (liquid) when I called again a few weeks later to see the dr he checked her again the same way and wanted to charge me 3-400$ for an exam! that's just ridiculous! when he just checked her 2 weeks prior to that! I had went up there to get the cough med. and instead they wanted to give me some very expensive pills and one my dog would have to take for the remainder of her life.. who has that kind of money! needless to say it pissed me off because it was like well if you don't do this then she will die! :-( In my opinion Dr. Riehl is very controlling over his assistants.. and not very helpful... they told me over the phone I could come and get a cough medicine that was liquid for my dog but when I went up there they wanted to charge me another 500$!! for the same service as a couple weeks ago! beware he is very expensive and I think over charges his clients...before this I hadn't had the need for his services except for shots.. this was the first time my dog was sick and I needed him and he treated me like well if you don't she will die! yea! it really pissed me off! I will never go back!
