I recently returned to the Lowcountry after living out of the state for ten years. One of the first things I did after moving back was bring my 14 year old dog back to Dr. Grant. I enjoyed the same great customer service from the office staff that I had remembered from when I lived here before. Dr. Grant was kind and compassionate with my sweet old girl. He and his staff are to be commended for the way they treat animals and the pet owners. I would recommend them to anyone!

They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. I was satisfied with both the veterinarian and how my pet's appointment went. Everything went according to plan. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert.

I've been going to this office since I moved to Summerville in 2004. There are great! Really compassionate and even my angry aggressive cat purred like a baby in the hands of Dr. Grant (who I think is retired now) and the young doctor with dark brown hair (I LOVE her, but I cannot remember how to spell her name right now). I had to take one of my cats in because of a bite to the tail. Her fur was so thick we did not see the bite until our cat allowed us to get close enough to her (she was hiding). We were able to take her in right away, and Dr. Grant was able to coax her out of her crate and examine her then adminster the shot. My dog practically jumps into Dr. McCoullah's (I know I spelled that wrong) arms when we go in. As my Maltese is the first I have had, I had loads of questions/concerns/worries about EVERYTHING. Dr. M really took her time and explained what to look for, signs of immediate concern, and things to think about for the future. I would recommend to anyone. Although they are not in fact an Animal Hospital. I think there is only one 24 hour hospital close to Summerville.
