Dr. Mark Schlessinger is an incompetent and dangerous vet. His knowledge of internal medicine is substandard. He failed to adequately diagnose or treat acute pancreatitis in one of my dogs. The treatment that he provided was substandard and only exacerbated the condition. The dog developed projectile hematochezia and life threatening DIC. The staff admitted that the care provided was geared toward outpatient treatment and not the inpatient treatment that it required.

The ONLY reason my dog is alive now is that I graduated from medical school and recognized what was happening with my dog. I took my dog for life saving care to a facility other than the one recommended by this vet and his staff; one that was actually OPEN NOW and not in two hours. A lay person without medical training who followed this vet's advice would likely have lost their dog to a preventable death. I cannot recommend this MORON to ANYBODY!!

Beware-long time patients and saddened owners will most likely have to wait & wait & wait when it comes to that so sad euthanasia time as the Doctors at this clinic only think of themselves not the part of the oath (the relief of animal suffering) they took when becoming a veterinarian! I know this from my own experience!
