Presently owned by Drs. Michael Parks and Chris Runde, Tidewater Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1958 by Drs. Henry Virts and Clarence Little to provide quality and affordable healthcare to all creatures large and small in the Tidewater area. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the special concerns of each individual owner and animal.

I've been going there since moving here in 1973. Many vets have been through there in that length of time and I always received the help I needed. I've lost many animals due to old age or serious illnnesses in that number of years. Everyone is just so experienced and dependable. Thank goodness they are there for us animal lovers.
