While our primary small animal veterinarian is in our home town of Randolph, over the years I've had several occasions where my dogs' health issues benefitted from additional non-western help in the form of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.

Dr. Mark Russo is delightful to work with, excellent with the dogs, and several of my animals lived longer, healthier lives due to the extra care they got from Dr. Mark. I highly recommend him and the Kingston Animal Hospital.

Dr. Mark Russo is a gifted healer - both as a practitioner of traditional medicine and alternative medicine, He is very smart and equally important very practical. He does not over prescribe or over charge - he recommends tests when appropriate but is a great diagnostician and is not afraid to use his skills and try the least invasive (and expensive) treatment plan first, On the flip side it is so very difficult to get an appointment with him and no one else in the practice is his equal, I do see Dr. Clair for regular medical treatments and she is very good and caring - if she were to leave the practice I am not sure I could stay with any of the other staff vets. Also only Dr. Clair and Dr. Russo are board certified. I do not see or allow my family to see physicians that are not board certified - why should I not follow the same rule for pets,.
