Services Dr. Adam Foret attended Louisiana State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree and finalized his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Adam Foret has continued to excel in education and has special certifications in specific areas of veterinary medicine and surgery. These areas include: ultrasonography, internal and external orthopedic fixation and bone plating (Orthopedic surgeries), and rigid/flexible endoscopy and laparoscopy (Minimally Invasive procedures). This additional training allows Dr. Adam Foret to offer diagnostic and surgical services to UVH patients and referrals from regional veterinarians whose patients otherwise might have to travel to Dallas or Baton Rouge for diagnostics and/or treatments. University Veterinary Hospital is proud to offer Laparoscopic spays/ovariohysterectomies. This keyhole procedure is up to 60% less painful than the traditional open procedure. They do such a great job of never overbooking appointments, even though they are extremely popular. I know for a fact that they have lots of business, but I've never had to wait a long time in a crowded waiting room like other places I've been too. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. My pet is so spoiled every time we come here. There is always food and water available and the occasional random toy to play with as well.

Definitely! The staff spoke very highly of this provider and it was clear that they held them in a position of high respect.

Absolutely not! I was never uncomfortable

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
