This vet was rude and wanted to argue with me that dogs do not die from Lyme disease. I had previously found a stray that was covered in ticks, he started limping and then became paralyzed. Dogs do die from the complications of Lyme disease. Why this vet wanted to dispute this about a dog that's been dead for years is beyond me. He does not have a good bed side manner with animals or humans. All I wanted to do was get my dog checked out for a lame leg, make sure it wasn't a sprain, Lyme disease or something else because it wasn't getting better. My dog was scared, and curious so he didn't want to listen. I told the vet that he may need to be muzzled because when we got him he didn't like his feet touched but is now fine, however I did not know how he would react to a stranger. Of course no dogs like to be muzzled, only one attempt was made to do this and he couldn't muzzle him, after that he grabbed his neck and tried to pull him onto the table. he didn't not like this, and I wouldn't like it either, it's a very aggressive and stupid thing to do if someone tells you you should muzzle a dog. But he did not bite and after this ridiculous behavior from someone who should know how to handle animals we will never return. And beware of him trying to sell expired medication.
