My GP made an appointment with Dr. Tomcho for me. I have to leave town to start my first job in Balitmore. While making appointment, this information was provided. My GP insisted I see him before I leave. However, I got the appointment date almost 60 days at a later date. After waiting that long, the day I went to the clinic, the front desk told me that Dr. Tomcho will only see me if I buy the whole package which will cost me $100 for registration. That program includes a support group entry. I explained to her that I will leave town in 10 days, so it doesn't makes sense for me to enroll in a program which I can't attend! She went back & forth consulting Tomcho and finally refused to see me! I was a patient referred by my GP! And he refused to see me even for a consultation if I didn't buy their package treatment!! What kind of a doctor is he? Didn't he take an oath to serve all patients equally?? How can he refuse to evaluate my condition, just because I will be not a long term patient ?? I have never experience such humiliation from any doctor in my life! I think Dr. Tomcho should reevaluate his ethics.
No one should go to him, no matter how good he is. He just want to make money. He has bad manners. He didn't even come out from his room to meet me in person, as if I am asking for a free service.
