After a long struggle with our marriage and trying to persuade my husband to go together with me to a marriage counselor, he finally agreed, as a last attempt to save our marriage. Based on Linda Falkner's web page it "seemed" she was qualified and experienced to assist us. She returned my call 4 days after I left her a message and made an appointment for us promptly. During our FIRST session, she was FALLING ASLEEP. She wasn't hearing what we were saying; she kept asking us the same questions we'd already answered. At one point, after I showed obvious irritation, she excused herself to splash water in her face and get a cup of coffee as it was "the time of day when she starts to fade and she felt she wasn't giving us 100%". Meanwhile, my husband and I had "opened up" bringing some uncomfortable emotions to the surface - which she DID NOT ADDRESS.. She kept watching the clock making mention of her next appointment and when our time was up- we were left with raw emotions that were never addressed.. Considering it took 3 YEARS to get my husband to grudgingly agree to see a therapist, his experience with Linda only made things worse for us. Finding a good therapist that you can trust and have "safe vulnerability" with is difficult enough, without having to deal with issues this blatantly unacceptable.

Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. Love the counselor, but the office staff, esp Julie is great
