Can not recommend. Client gets limited time during appointment to speak & is frequently, sometimes rudely, cut off. Dr. wastes too much appt time writing prescriptions—by hand. The time writing reflects # of drugs prescribed. Multiple drugs, mixed daily, makes “drug soup”. Dr. changes or adds more drugs w/o explaining what results the drug soup should produce. The benefits of “drug soup” treatment is hotly debated among psychiatric doctors & researchers. But this one client has concluded, sadly, that Dr. Machi is dismissive of client’s life experiences & the possibility they actually have influenced both client’s well-being & their decision to seek professional care. To be fair, psychiatrists no longer provide therapy. But their changed job description has not changed clients into defective objects easily repaired with pills. Dr Machi IMHO, doesn’t share that belief. “Your experience may differ.”
