Hospice of Helping Hands, Inc.

We are a non-profit organization that has been providing hospice care in Arenac, Gladwin, Iosco, Ogemaw, Oscoda, and Roscommon counties since 1979. We provide care for patients who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and are seeking comfort care rather than curative treatment. Hospice care is provided in the patients home. Patients and their families have the benefit of a team of professionals to support and care for their loved ones. Care team members include: the patients physician/hospice medical director, registered nurses, social workers, spiritual advisors, bereavement counselors, home health aides and volunteers. In addition to the care team, hospice care offers 24-hour availability, specialized childrens services, therapies, dietary assistance, pain management, all medications related to the illness, medical equipment and supplies.
