They definitely didn't have enough staff members on hand. It seemed like one person was trying to do everything, and I ended up waiting for a very long time. My appointments always get canceled last minute here. It is really frustrating and really unprofessional in my opinion. They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. I couldn't believe how knowledgeable and well-informed the staff was. They were able to answer all my questions, except the ones they needed to have their boss's input on. It was great to be able to talk to such a skilled staff. I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart.

I would like to thank Amedisys Hospice on behalf of the family of Shirley Benefield. You went above and beyond your call as nurses for my mother (Cindy in pajamas lol).
I would like to thank you all personally, you are all angels but I would like to name a few by name: Cindy, I know you are new a hospice but they could not ask for a better person to work there. You helped me so much to understand why things are the way they are and you touched my heart in so many ways. You are a very special person. I cannot think of the words to say that can express my thankfulness for you. Thanks for all the hugs and tears we shared. Tiffany: To be such a young lady you have met your calling. Thank you for helping mama to the pasture to see the new baby calf. This is only one of the many things you done for us that will touch our hearts forever. Thank you. Kayla: Our sweet CNA. Thanks for all the baths and bed changing and love and support you gave us. You would stop by even when you wasn't scheduled to give mama a bath or change her clothes or bedding just because I wanted them changed even when they didn't need it. Thank your for everything. Tammy: You were our voice of sanity when our family was completely out of control. Thank you for letting me hold my mama for a while after she passed. When I looked up into your eyes I could see you understood and felt my pain. This is a few of the many people that helped us though this horrible time of life. You all were our strength when we were on our knees. You answered the questions that there was not answers to. When this group of nurses walked in my mamas door, THEY wasn't strangers, they were friends that we just hadn't met yet. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts...... Renea
