We were in awe at the level of service we received. They completely surpassed all my expectations. I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help us right when we needed it. They have a good staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. They were always able to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. They were totally able to work with my husband's previous doctors to ask about any further assistance they needed to be to him. Only one of my husband's former doctors became slightly arrogant, and Fallbrook Hospice handled his issues with kid gloves. I'm confident they always had our best interest at heart. I knew he was getting top-of-the-line treatment, and it helped to know they held weekly staff meetings to keep each person up to date of things at our house. They were incorporating that knowledge into the practice. Most of all was their personal concern for not only their patient but for our family caring for him. Even though we knew we were at the end of the line in his illnesses, and we knew that helping him to be comfortable was the only thing anyone could do, after he was gone those feelings of why couldn't we have done more to keep him longer kept creeping back in. Words that continued to come in to us from Hospice, via visits, phone calls, cards, etc., were always there to remind us that we really did do all that we could do. And always, ALWAYS, all of the Fallbrook Hospice staff did absolutely everything they could five and six days a week, often fielding calls from us in the middle of the night during a crisis we weren't sure about to also give him the best comfort and cheer possible. And Pastor Mike giving him the confidence to go forward into the next phase of human existence without fear was possibly the kindest help of all. He was provided with comfort in both his body and his soul. Dr. Manring's personal interest, Ann Manring's personal guidance to me, and Virginia and all of the nurses she assigned to us were totally qualified, and Armita Cruz made bathing and hygiene acceptable again to him. All were too kind for words.
