My mother was already a Kaiser member, so when it came time for Hospice care, she was enrolled in the Hayward program. All intake services and such came to her, she did not need to worry about going anywhere. I was Mom's primary caregiver in her last days, and thanks the the Hospice team, those days were as easy as they could be, and very precious. Sure, it's Big Work helping your mom 24-7, but the Hospice team provided all the backup I could have asked for...24-7. Her nurses were wonderful, and her personal care aid was so kind and gentle...Mom really loved her. Because of Kaiser Hayward Hospice, I was able to kiss my Mom goodbye in her own home. Could not have asked for better !
