Dr. Petersen was born and raised in Southern California. Besides a love of chiropractic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Whatever Dr. Petersen does, he is firm, positive, and enthusiastic in his approach.

Dr. Petersen attended the University of Southern California where he received a B.A. in Communication Arts and Science. He then received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. After working in a group practice for four years, Dr. Petersen came to San Juan Capistrano and founded Sycamore Chiropractic in 2001. He is an expert in the care of the human frame (the spine) and more importantly the nervous system. This allows him to care for people with all types of health issues from neck and back pain to headaches/migraines, shoulder, arm, hip or leg pains, fatigue, and digestive disorders just to name a few. He has also been appointed a Qualified Medical Evaluator by the State of California so he can specialize in sports, work, and auto injuries. Dr. Petersen has thousands of satisfied patients from newborns to octogenarians and is committed to assuring each patient the very highest in personal care.
