WORST PLACE to get hair done in sarasota. I made an appointment at 1PM, sat an waited for 40 minutes, as I watched 6 other women discuss jewelry with the owner, she was more worried about selling jewelry and having random posh women walk in n out testing shampoo? It was finally my turn, wow 45 minutes of sitting in a chair, to wash my hair by her assistant. Then I was sat in a salon chair, and waited another 25 minutes for Amanda to finally come to me. I had made an apt for full highlights (aka, I had a 2 hr slot taken from MY WORK DAY) for her to do my hair. She spent a total of 25 minutes rushing to put foils in my hair!! 25 minutes!
Then rinsed them out, and told me I needed a hair cut, euhm No I do not. So she said, do u want it blow dried? Yes Please, she basically dried it terribly and in a RUSH again, because we have 8 other women trying on jewelry that is more important. So at the end, I'm in complete disbelieve the entire time just trying to keep it together. She goes, that will be $220....
WHAT????? I said, ok...realllly trying to stay calm as I looked at my terrible bleached out fried hair in the mirror. She says, cash tips only, I said, I only have a card. She says with her arrogant voice " Next time bring cash"...
Next time????? This place should be shut down...
Do NOT GO THERE! Just a warning...

I want to know what staff is friendly? What staff. Thats the problem she is too greedy to hire anyone. The first review looks really suspicious!!! Amanda Vincent is the only staff besides one tired old assistant that is suppose to shampoo only but, end up doing the
Brazilian blow outs herself. I do not think the shampoo woman has a license and should not be doing color,blow outs and etc..when you are paying the great Amanda Vincent prices. Get ready to wait. She books about 8 people at the time and your appointment time means nothing to her. She is rude and talks to you like a dog. Not worth the wait or aggravation to go to this salon. She reminds you on how lucky you are to wait for her to do your hair. She talks to shampoo woman like a peasant in front of everyone and it will make you feel uncomfortable.
